Digital building data & material passports for circular construction

Join Demo-BLog and leading EU-funded projects for an online discussion on how digital building data can support circular construction and renovation.

On 8 October 2026, Demo-BLog will take part in the online webinar “Digital building data & material passports for circular construction”, bringing together experts from EU-funded projects to explore how digital tools can accelerate the transition towards a more circular built environment.

The webinar will examine the growing role of Digital Building Logbooks and Material Passports in improving access to building data, supporting better renovation decisions and enabling the reuse of construction materials. Speakers will discuss practical implementation experiences, governance considerations and the opportunities these digital solutions offer for policymakers, industry and building professionals.

Representing Demo-BLog, Prof. Dr. Ir. Henk Visscher (TU Delft Urban Energy Institute) will introduce the project’s work, while Tine Vande Casteele (VEKA Business Desk) will present how Demo-BLog is helping turn building data into practical circular renovation decisions through real-life pilot activities.

The webinar also features contributions from the SUM4Re project and concludes with an interactive Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with experts working on the future of digital and circular construction.
