The importance of building an inclusive digital building logbook

Demo-BLog partners BPIE (Buildings Performance Institute Europe), TU Delft and Leap Forward have collaborated to launch a Social Inclusion Playbook to ensure that digital building logbooks (DBLs) guarantee, as much as possible, that everyone can access and benefit from their content – from how they capture, integrate and store building data from across the construction market value chain, to how this information is designed and shared.

What is a social inclusion playbook?

The objective is for DBL providers to have an easy access point for essential information, practical guidelines and ready-to-use tools building for digitally and socially accessible DBLs.

What does the Demo-BLog playbook feature?

  • General info, facts & figures about social inclusion.
  • Resources to support an inclusive approach: how to map & understand target audiences, what is inclusive design and how to do it, how to conduct interviews and user testing, how to meet EU regulatory compliance standards, and much more!
  • A simple “one stop shop” structure, with everything accessible on one page.
  • Links to existing sources (EU, WCAG) and ready-to-use templates are included.

Learn more and explore all the resources by visiting the Social Inclusion Playbook.
