This report provides the foundation for all future studies of Digital Building Logbooks (DBLs) within the scope of the Demo-BLog project.

Demo-BLog brings together the Woningpas (Belgium), CIRDAX (Netherlands-Belgium), CLÉA (France), CAPSA (Germany) and Chimni, (the United Kingdom) DBLs to cultivate four diverse functionalities that addresses growing key societal challenges in the built environment. This report reviews the state of play of these five DBLs in relation to the wider market across Europe.

It is designed as an encyclopaedia that contains the fundamentals of the five tools, the perspectives of the respective markets, as well as future goals and the underlying prerequisites thereof, which should serve as a common ground for all subsequent collaborative studies.
