Webinar takeaways: Digital Building Logbooks (DBLs) – Unlocking Their Real-World Value

The session — moderated by Zia Lennard from R2M Solution — featured rich demos and candid discussions from leaders across practice, policy, and data architecture.

- Adrianna Threpsiadi showcased the Chimni logbook, which integrates tailored renovation advice for UK homeowners.
- York Ostermeyer introduced the CAPSA logbook developed with UNEP, focusing on rapid and robust data collection.
- Bertrand Leclercq presented the CLEA logbook in France, which supports home upgrades through energy simulations.
- Simon Duindam discussed circularity through CIRDAX, a logbook focused on secondary materials markets.
- Tina Vande Casteele shared the evolution of the Woningpas platform into a tool for community-based decarbonisation.
- Sun-Ah Hwang explored the importance of inclusion in renovation processes and introduced the Demo-BLog Social Inclusion Playbook.
- Rachel Desmaris addressed the importance of viable business models for DBLs.
